With more that 8 millions inhabitants, Lima is the 2nd biggest desertic city of the world. Economic and financial capital of the country, Lima is a dynamic city with huge constrasts, that will not leave the tourist without entertainment (restaurants, museums, other activities). The night life is very lively and diverse, and the main features are cheerfullness, and the people’s simplicity. On the coast, the waves attracts surfers from the whole world.
Lima also has touristic attractions: the historical centre (With Colonial architecture, listed at UNESCO world heritage), the lively district of Barranco (Previous fisher’sman village, turned to a seaside resort), or the district of Miraflores (bars, restaurants, craft market, sea side, parks…). Besides, Lima is considered as the Gastronomical capital of South America.
