From the Kollao plateau, we can see Puno, considered as the “Peru folk capital”. The city dazzles the visitor with its landscapes, made of valleys and rough terrains.

Merging with the sky, the Titicaca Lake, higgest navigable lake, is a source of inspiration for many legends and is the cradle of the Aymara civilization. The lake is nowadays inhabited by Uros indians, famous for their art of weaving reeds to build their houses and Islands.

Puno is a city where take place various celebrations, the biggests in South America with its carnival in february, where you can enjoy colored suits, mooving to the sounds of saya, tuntuna and caporales, typical dances of the region.
